I strive to facilitate a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate therapeutic environment to assist you in developing a repertoire of skills to help you manage your well-being effectively.

I conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations to help individuals dive deeper into learning about themselves. I use a holistic and individualized approach to help my clients reframe challenges as opportunities for growth rather than just obstacles by focusing on the therapeutic bond. My approach integrates principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, and Positive psychology to identify and cultivate my client’s unique strengths, talents, and abilities as well as assist them in improving their daily functioning as much as possible.

Experience: Dr. Williams completed her academic training in Child Study, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Psychology. She has professional experience in the field of education and psychology. Dr. Williams has a background in behavior modification and providing direct support to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, communication disorders, and TBI. Her clinical experience includes helping individuals across the lifespan in dealing with trauma, substance abuse issues, stress, anxiety, psychosis, and personality disorders. She also has experience administering psychological and psychoeducational testing. Dr. Williams works with children (ages 3+), adolescents, and adults utilizing a variety of theories and techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, and Positive psychology to support the needs of those she works with.

Dr. Fox is a PsyD, graduating from Adelphi University May 2024. He worked in three public schools on Long Island and at Brooklyn College Personal Counseling Center over 4 years. Dr. Fox has experience helping individuals dealing with trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, dual diagnoses, and ADHD. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from York College and a master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Through my experience, I have worked with a diverse population of clients within school settings, social service agencies and substance abuse agencies. I have over 6 years of experience working in the Child Welfare system providing support services. I have worked with children, teens and adults who have been challenged with anxiety, depression, family issues, domestic violence, behavioral issues, substance abuse and complex trauma. I incorporate evidence-based techniques from a systems and cognitive approach in order to address a client’s individual need. I assisted clients to overcome challenges, address inner conflict and see their future with optimism.

My aim is to help each of my clients gain greater understanding of themselves and develop skills and techniques to help them meet their goals. I place special emphasis on the relationship I have with each of my clients and getting to know them in a meaningful and collaborative way. Together we will discover which therapeutic interventions feel right for you and help you move forward in getting to know your true self. My therapeutic approach is heavily influenced by Emotion Focused Therapy, as well as Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory. I also integrate directive, evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower clients with skills and techniques that help them succeed and function optimally in their daily lives. Experience: Katherine is a Master’s-level School Psychologist (MSEd) and a Doctoral Candidate at Pace University toward a PsyD in School and Clinical Psychology. Katherine has experience working with children and adults in a range of therapeutic settings, including outpatient therapy, middle school, high school, day treatment programs, and inpatient hospitals. Katherine is currently employed as a Psychologist 1 at a children’s psychiatric hospital in New York State. Katherine’s specialty areas include difficulties with attachment relationships, behavioral disorders, identity and self-esteem concerns, personality disorders, psychosis, and non-suicidal self-injury. She also has a passion for working with individuals who have survived traumatic life events and those who experience dissociative symptoms through an approach that integrates narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and exploratory and attachment-based interventions.

Katherine also has experience with psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment with individuals throughout the lifespan, ranging from infancy to adulthood.
