College Transition Team

College Transition Team- Our Mission as the College Transition Team is to provide Preventative Care to young adults through evidence-based treatment, multimodal therapies, and a holistic collaborative approach.

Specializing in Neurodiverse Behavior Challenges, Parent Workshops, and ADHD Across the Lifespan I am a Mental Health Counselor–Limited Permit (MHC-LP), Certified School Counselor, and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) dedicated to helping children, teens, and families find balance, confidence, and emotional growth. My approach blends clinical counseling and educational expertise to create practical, compassionate interventions that support progress both at home and in school.

I specialize in working with neurodiverse populations, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and social-emotional challenges. My style is warm, structured, and strengths-based—helping clients and parents understand behavior through a lens of skill-building rather than shame or blame.

In addition to individual counseling and behavioral support, I lead parent workshops that empower families with tools to navigate emotional regulation, communication, and positive behavior strategies. I also hold certification in ADHD treatment across the lifespan, providing evidence-based support for children, adolescents, and adults managing attention and executive functioning challenges.

My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a belief that meaningful change happens when families feel understood, supported, and equipped with the right tools to thrive.

I look forward to working together!

My aim is to help each of my clients gain greater understanding of themselves and develop skills and techniques to help them meet their goals. I place special emphasis on the relationship I have with each of my clients and getting to know them in a meaningful and collaborative way. Together we will discover which therapeutic interventions feel right for you and help you move forward in getting to know your true self. My therapeutic approach is heavily influenced by Emotion Focused Therapy, as well as Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory. I also integrate directive, evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower clients with skills and techniques that help them succeed and function optimally in their daily lives. Women’s Issues More than just my work: I love my family, friends, and my Shih-Poo puppy. I love fresh air and sunlight. I love organized chaos. I love vibrant colors and art. I love being around children who have not yet been influenced by social expectations and unapologetically speak their truth. I love when I am able to connect with others. “Our feelings are our most genuine paths to knowledge.” – Audre Lorde
